On July 6-11, 2008 representatives from Elizabeth City State University attended the 2008 IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium in Boston, Massachusetts. This was the 28th annual symposium for GRSS which brought together world-class scientists, engineers and educators engaged in the fields of geoscience and remote sensing. The 2008 Symposium theme was “The Next Generation” focusing on outreach for the future.
