After the Distinguished Lecture and IEEE-GRSS meetings, guests and students met for a reception and poster session. Students were able to present their research to guests and other students. Among these research students were a group of high school students from Camden, Currituck and Pasquotank county high schools who participated in the ECSU Wellcome Burroughs Project during the summer of 2006. These students created posters that reflected research in the areas of Submerged Aquatic Vegetation (SAV), Geology, Pollutants, and other environmental issues that they participated in during the summer of 2006.
