Signing of Memorandum of Understanding

Good Evening, Chancellor & Mrs. Burnim, Trustee Members Present, Vice Chancellor Carolyn Mahoney, today's distinguished lecturer, workshop presenters, administrators, faculty, staff, students and all others here assembled. We have come to a time in this auspicious occasion when we will converge for the ceremonial signing of the Memorandums of Understanding between Elizabeth City State University and SeaSpace Corporation, hereinafter referred to as SeaSpace and Elizabeth City State University and Pixoneer Geomatics, Inc., hereinafter referred to as Pixoneer. SeaSpace is an international leader in remote sensing technology and the world's leading weather information provider. Pixoneer is a premier provider of image processing software and remote sensing services for the education, government, military, and commercial sectors.

The purpose of these signings is to direct the parties in a collaborative arrangement involving ECSU's Center of Excellence in Remote Sensing Education and Research (a.k.a. CERSER) and SeaSpace's expertise in remote sensing. Also significant to CERSER's program objectives is Pixoneer's expertise in image processing software. Mr. Chancellor, will you and the signature representatives of SeaSpace and Pixoneer, please come forward for the signing. Mr. Chancellor be seated to my left and first being joined by Mr. Mike Crowley from SeaSpace.

MOU between ECSU and SeaSpace Corporation, Inc.

This is a memorandum of understanding entered into this the 4th day of March, 2003, on the part of Elizabeth City State University, a constituent institution of the University of North Carolina and SeaSpace. The collaboration between the parties will aid in ECSU's satellite remote sensing research of the coastal, ocean and marine environment and will allow TeraScan Remote Sensing training to be conducted for SeaSpace's east coast customers and clients at ECSU's CERSER.

Memorandum of Understanding between ECSU and Pixoneer Geomatics, Inc.

This is a memorandum of understanding entered into this the 4th day of March, 2003, on the part of Elizabeth City State University, a constituent institution of the University of North Carolina and Pixoneer. The collaboration between the parties will aid in ECSU's satellite remote sensing research of the coastal, ocean and marine environment and will allow use of Pixoneer's remote education module and image processing software (earth) and training to be conducted at ECSU's CERSER.
