In addition to the Distinguished Lecture Series, Dr. Jezek took part in a webcast from the campus of Elizabeth City State University where he presented "Remote Sensing of the Cryosphere on Earth and across the Solar System". This presentation dealt with the the use of remote sensing to aid scientists in determining
several factors dealing with climatic research.
