Je'aime Powell and Jeff WoodNSFTeraGrid’10 was held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at the Sheraton Station Square. This meeting of the nation’s high performance computing (HPC) enthusiasts was attended by more than 400 academic researchers, technologists, educators, students, resource providers and government officials. More than 200 sessions, tutorials, posters, and more were presented during the week. Communities utilizing cyberinfrastructure for decades presented results and shared new strategies. Educators also shared methods to prepare the next generation of computational scientists.

Representing Elizabeth City State University were Je'aime Powell and Jeff Wood, staff with the Center of Excellence in Remote Sensing Education and Research. Je'aime presented research during the poster session titled "Mentoring Minority Undergraduates in their efforts to Implement a LAMP Documentation Server for a Condor-based Grid" (PPT Here). He also presented "Multi-Channel Radar Depth Sounder (MCRDS) signal processing: A distributed computing approach" (PowerPoint)during the Gateway Track of presentations. Jeff presented "Utilizing a Social Networking Site as a Web Portal to Process CReSIS Radar Data" during the Gateway Track (poster - JPG)(PowerPoint).
